Robert (“Bobby”) Lovell Lewis
Bobby Lewis, aged 65 passed away on November 4th 2021. Bobby was born on January 29th 1956 in Chicago, IL. Bobby was an accomplished & well respected musician, one of his first regular gigs being at the original Playboy Mansion in Chicago, he also showcased his talents in the movie "Hoodlum" and also as a backing voice on a Budweiser commercial. The Bobby Lewis Trio headlined various iconic venues notably on Rush Street such as The Back Room, Gibsons & Hugo's, as well as many of Chicago’s finest Hotels, Restaurants & Festivals, and enjoyed regular appearances at The Horseshoe Casino, Star Plaza, Radisson and The Blue Chip Casino. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Mary Florence Jackson and Lovell Lewis, and his sisters Deborah A. Heade & Rhonda L. Sykes, and niece Keneisha Lewis. Bobby leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Susi Lewis, his daughters Mary and Michelle Lewis, his brothers Kenneth (Tracy) and Gregory Lewis, his sister Felicia Lewis, nieces Yalonda Hawkins, Nicole (Antwaune) Liggins, Veronica (Tyler) Coe, Anna Sykes, Roxanne Lewis, Paulisha Lewis, Quiana Lewism, Romonda (Sam) Hicks, Kimberly Sykes, Monica Sykes, Carmen Sykes, Karl (Nicole) Heade, Matthew Heade, Charles (Tasha) Sykes, Kevin (Jessica) Sykes and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Calumet Funeral Chapel Hobart-Portage, 370 N County Line Rd, Hobart, IN 46342, with Repast to follow immediately after at Set ‘Em Up Lanes, 135 N Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319. For further information please call 219-940-3791.
