Nada Kostova

Nada Kostova, age: 68, passed away October 17, 2021 at her home.

Nada first came to America in search of a better life and to join her sister Violeta Georgiefski, and brother Straso Kostov in 1977. She was a skilled seamstress and embroidery technician.

She was an active member of SS Peter and Paul Macedonian Cathedral and their Ladies Auxiliary.


Nada was the youngest of five children. She was preceded in death by her parents Risto and Nadezda Kostov and older brothers Dimo Kostov, and his wife Pavlina of Kavadarci, Macedonia and Straso Kostov of Crown Point.


She was retired from Crown Point Community School Corporation.

Nada is survived by her loving son Zoran, and her loving granddaughter Ana. She is also survived by her sister Violeta Georgiefski, sister Mara Djorevski, sister-in-law Ljubinka Kostov and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Nada was very special to her family and friends. She was always cheerful and had a smile on her face, she loved everyone she met and loved helping people anyway she could. She was always very generous and loving. She was especially proud of her loving son Zoran and granddaughter Ana and wanted to spend time with them. Nada loved gardening, she especially loved flowers- she was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, neighbors and all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 10 AM-SS Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, 9660 Broadway, Crown Point, with a visitation beginning at 930 at the church.
