Crystel Fisher, of Portage, passed away on November 15, 2019 at the age of 69.
She is survived by her loving daughter Angela (Kevin) Dobrzeniecki, and the sunshine of her life, her grandson Grant Deinema. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Lisa Pope; sister-in-law, Carol O’Donogue; and brother-in-law, Bob Hobson.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Wayne and Juanita Pope; her first husband, James Fisher; her second husband, Randy Campbell; brothers: Wayne Pope Jr. and Jim O’Donogue; and sisters: Andrea (Gene) Ours and Pam Hobson.
Crystel was a life-long resident of NWI and spent many dedicated years working at Inland Steel. She will forever be remembered for her feistiness and her intense love for her family – especially her grandson, who was her best buddy and partner in crime. She was a true animal lover and will be missed by her furry grandbabies.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 21st with visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service at Calumet Park Hobart-Portage Chapel, 370 N. County Line Road, Hobart.
Noel Martinez, age, 78, of Portage, passed away November 4, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Octavia Martinez and sister, Cereida Arceo.
Noel is survived by his step-sons, Hector and Daniel Reyes; step-grandchildren, Cynthia, Brittany, and Dawn; step-great-grandchildren, Maddison and McKensie; sister, Oneida (Efrain) Fontanez; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Billy Williamson, age 91, born to Goldie and Andrew Williamson, preceded in death by 7 sisters and 4 brothers.
Billy graduated from Tolleston High School in 1946 and in his senior year enlisted in the US Navy. He served 4 years in the regular Navy and 4 years in the Naval Reserve. Billy was a Cub Scout, a member of the ROTC and a lieutenant in the Gary Cadet Corp.
Joan M Dzyacky, born in Gary, Indiana on March12, 1932 died October 23, 2019 at the age of 87.
She worked for 25 years at Gary National Bank. While she was working at Gary National, she obtained her teaching degree from Indiana University. She taught at St. Bridget’s Catholic School for nearly 20 years..
Suzane Rivera passed away suddenly on October 13 at the age of 56.
She is survived by her daughters: Selena and Sheena; her grandchildren: Dallas, Soliol and Phoenix; her brothers: Albert and Leonard Opalko; and dear friend Cathy.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Harold and Edna Opalko; her beloved husband Ariel; and her sister, Cheryl Opalko.

Judith Cooley, age 78, peacefully passed away on September, 15, 2019. Judith was an avid bowler. She also loved to play bunko with friends, travel, listen to music and shop. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing with her beloved dog Heidi.
