Anna Rnich, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on November 16, 2021, surrounded by family. Born in 1936 in Serbia to Stefan and Barbara Ruck, Anna and her parents immigrated to America after WWII and settled in Indiana. It was there that she was employed by Arthur Winer, Inc. and met her future husband, Nikola Rnich. They wed in 1955 and soon, three children followed. Anna was a devout and active member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Cathedral and the church choir. She was also passionate about the needle arts, and produced many beautiful sewn, crocheted, knitted and needlepoint items for family and friends. Anna is preceded in death by husband, Nikola, and daughter, Nadine (Wayne) DiNuzzo, and survived by son Nick (Denise) Rnich, Jr. and daughter, Vera (Robert) Russo. Anna also leaves behind four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and Kumovi. Visitation along with a pomen service will be held on Friday, December 3, from 4-7pm at Calumet Park Funeral Home, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 9am at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 8700 Taft St., Merrillville, IN, followed by interment at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
