Agripino Alicea, age 92, of Portage, passed away October 29, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Rogelia Alicea; his parents, Demetrio and Florencia Alicea; and many siblings.

Agripino is survived by his children, Rolando (Angela) Alicea, Mary Davis-Alicea, Noel (Evelyn) Alicea, Sandra (Alfred) Cruz, and Brenda Alicea; several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Agripino retired from Inland Steel after 40 years of employment. His work ethics were exceptional. He was a dedicated member of St. Mary’s Church in East Chicago. He enjoyed working on cars. Agripino was devoted to God, his late wife Rogelia and his loving family. He had a heart of gold, he was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Friends are invited to visit with the family for a memorial visitation on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (370 N. County Line Rd. Hobart IN 46342). A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church (2447 Putnam St. Lake Station IN 46405) Burial of cremains will be private for the immediate family.
