Kelly Anne Morgan
"Sunshine"
December 1, 1988 - April 2, 2021
Kelly went to her eternal home in heaven on April 2, 2021. She is now enjoying the welcoming
arms of Jesus, and a grand reunion celebration with family and friends who have went on
before her.
She was a resident of Valparaiso Indiana. She was born and raised in Hammond Indiana
For Kelly, family was everything. This love of family prompted her to choose full time
motherhood as her career. Her boys, Andrew, Weston, and Nolan were her whole world. Her
love for them was mighty and she relentlessly pursued the best for them. Her love and
protection for them would rival that of a momma bear with her cubs, her boys were her
absolute three favorite human beings on this earth.
Kelly was a huge fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Donatello was her favorite. From him,
she chose her favorite colors of green, black, and purple. She also was extremely creative and
loved doing arts and crafts with her boys. She had a passion for cooking and aspired to join the
world of culinary art someday.
At a young age, Kelly accepted Jesus as her saviour, securing her ticket to eternity in heaven,
and always hoped that everyone she knew would follow suit. She was quite proud of her faith
and shared many testimonies, crediting God for His provision, protection, and guidance.
Kelly had the biggest, most beautiful heart which continuously overflowed with empathy and
compassion for others. She taught her boys the importance of reaching out hands of help to
the homeless and others less fortunate. Even if she was in need herself, she would give her last
little bit to bless another struggling soul. She truly lived by the "Golden Rule"(Matthew 7:12).
Kelly was an exuberant, free spirited woman. She was hilariously funny and goofy to a fault.
She incited laughter wherever she went, and could find humor even in the most diverse and
troublesome situations. She IS a bright, beaming light who has lit up even the darkest of
moments. This is why her mom fittingly nicknamed her Sunshine. Because she deposited a
part of her light into each one of us, her light will never fade. We literally have Sunshine in our
pockets! Kelly's light made it all the way up to heaven and now shines brighter than ever
amongst the Glory of God and shimmering streets of gold!
Kelly is loved immensely and will be genuinely missed by us all.
Kelly was preceded in death by her lovely granparents, Harvey and Mauritia Morgan, and Gail
L. Rardin. She is survived by her father, Kevin Morgan, her mother, Tammy Morgan, three
amazing children, Andrew, Weston, and Nolan, brother, Zachery Wells (and Ruby), sister,
Kristina Kozik (and Bian Kozik). She had six nephews, one niece, and several aunts, uncles,
cousins, and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday April 14, 2021 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (7535 Taft St. Merrillville IN. 46410.)
