Ruark “Mack” MacArthur, of Portage, formerly of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021.
He was a member of the F.O.P (Fraternal Order of Police).
He is survived by his mother, Jaie MacArthur; brothers, Adam and Garth MacArthur and so many very special friends.
Ruark enjoyed sports, especially the Chicago Bears and Notre Dame. He also loved shooting and was very masterful at it. He was also an American History buff. He was such a pleasure to be around and will be so deeply missed by all that knew him. He was a great man with a tender heart and a kind soul. His memories will forever be etched in our hearts.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm with a funeral service beginning at 5:30pm Pastor Dana Cagle officiating at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (370 N. County Line Rd. Hobart IN)

Mac was a good guy, I remember have many good conversations with him. I remember him as being easy to talk to and being relatable. He will be greatly missed, much love, condolences, and prayers sent out to his family.
