Juan Carrillo, age 48, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 1, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Carolina Carrillo; children: Juan J. Carrillo, Sebastian A. Carrillo,Marco A. Carrillo and Camila Carrillo; father, Felipe Carrillo; siblings: Francisco Carrillo and Marisol Carrillo. Juan is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by his mother, Elba Carrillo.

Juan Ramon was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and grew up in Ocotlan, Jalisco, Mexico. Growing up, Juan always wanted to help those in need and always wanted to be a paramedic. He began to study and pursue a career to become a paramedic but at the age of 17 he decided to come to the states in search of a better life. He worked in and around Pasadena, California for a couple years. He then moved to Chicago and where he
eventually met his wife, Carolina, at the age of 22. In October of 1997, 5 years after they met, they decided to get married. Juan and Carolina would be married for 23 years and throughout those 23 years they had 4 children, Juan Julian, Sebastian Alejandro, Marco Antonio and finally their little girl Camila. Throughout those years he strived to be the
best father and husband that he could. Juan Ramon came to this country with nothing and he still found a way to give his family everything.

Procession line up Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 9:30 A.M. at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (370 N. County Line Rd. Hobart, IN). A memorial mass will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church (2447 Putnam St. Lake Station, IN). Fr. David Kime officiating.
