Ted E. Anderson, recently of The Villages, Florida, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the age of 87. Ted was born and raised in Gary, and attended Lew Wallace High School before enlisting in the U.S. Marines. His devotion to the Lord never waned as he was a member of Tri County Baptist Church in Lady Lake, Florida.
Ted is survived by his adoring wife, Ruth; his children: Jeff Anderson, Lisa (Ron) Floyd, Tammy (Dan) Curran, and Lorelei “Buffy” (Robert) Barnes; 12 treasured grandchildren, and many cherished great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Gene Anderson; his dear sisters: Judy Sobat and Jerrie Dowdy; his precious granddaughter, Amy Beth Floyd; and his beloved first wife, Millie.
Ted will forever be known for his loving nature, his dedicated support for his family and his love for his Lord and Savior. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, services will remain private.
