Joseph Ruda, age 59, passed away on October 15, 2019. He was born on October 23, 1959 to the late Joseph R. and Helen (nee Sadowski) Ruda.
Joe was a devout catholic, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also passionately involved with Lake County Right to Life.
He loved watching the Chicago Cubs play, and was elated when his favorite team won the World Series in 2016. When he wasn’t following baseball he could be found fishing.
Joe is survived by his beloved sisters: Betty J. Davenport and JoAnne Thoma; his nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Even though Joe never married, he loved his nieces and nephews as his own. He was a kind, considerate and gentle man who loved God with all of his heart and soul. We will miss him dearly, but know that he is at peace, and we have faith that we will be reunited with him one day when God calls us home. Well done, good and faithful servant. Rest in peace.
