Joel Ramos Sr. impacted many lives. He was the kind of man who was selfless and put people first. He loved his family and friends so dearly and did things for them without any complaint. He was very smart, independent and always figured things out on his own.

Joel lost his mother at a very young age and was raised by his sweet Aunt and Grandmother. He grew up listening to the word of God and was raised accordingly. Joel was an honor student throughout his years in school and was very goal-orientated. He fell in love with his beautiful wife and married at the age of 20 years old. He had his first and only daughter at 21, a year into his marriage. Two years later he had his first son, whom he named after him. Four years after that, he welcomed his second son, who came as a surprise. Joel was the definition of a true family man. He put them first always and they meant everything to him. Joel was an IT System Administrator for Majestic Star Casino and worked for the company for over 20 years. He was well loved by his coworkers and everyone else he ever met. Joel and his wife bought their dream home in March of 2018 and he was buddies with the neighbors in no time. A couple months later, in May of 2018, his twin grandbabies were born. He cherished them, spoiled them and spent every moment he could with them.

Joel will be missed for the jokester and overall man he was. He will always be remembered as the best man in the room with a huge smile on his face and the biggest heart. Rest in heaven Joel, until we meet again.
